The B.zero1 is constructed as a spiral, and the logo is struck around both of its edges. That repetition is the authentication feature: every instance of the logo on a genuine ring is identical in depth, in letterform and in spacing from its neighbours, because they were struck by the same tooling to the same standard.
Counterfeits cast the ring, which reproduces the logo as a moulded shape rather than a struck one. The result is soft letter edges and spacing that drifts around the circumference. Under a loupe, walk the logo all the way around.
The spiral itself should be even, with bands of consistent thickness and a smooth transition where the spiral turns. Ceramic and precious-metal variants exist and each has its own finishing standard.
What a B.zero1 does on the secondary market
Steady. Gold content sets a floor and the design has stayed in production long enough to have a liquid secondary market.
